Coach Khush
Athlete, strength coach, and basketball coach — developing leaders and building real relationships in Woodinville, WA and the surrounding area.

My Background
I started playing basketball at four years old and fell in love with the game, playing through my sophomore year. The year before, I found weightlifting and started training to help my performance on the court. Eventually lifting took over — I gave up basketball and committed fully to powerlifting.
In 2022, I began coaching online, mainly powerlifters. In 2023 I started personal training at a gym — the same year I got back into basketball, which I still play today, competing in multiple tournaments each year. At that gym, I reconnected with one of my old basketball coaches, who got me into my first basketball coaching role, and in 2024 I started coaching teams.
Today that's 4.5 years of strength coaching, 2 years of basketball coaching, and 1.5 years of basketball skill training.
Get to Know Me
Outside the Gym
Outside the gym, I love being around nature — hiking, or just admiring it. Last winter I picked up snowboarding and loved it immediately; there's something awesome about being out in the mountains, pouring into a brand new sport, and putting my own physical training to the test.
I try to stay adventurous and keep chasing new experiences, since that's where a lot of the fun and growth in life comes from. I stay curious and try to learn from everyone I meet — something they know, or just who they are.
Coaching Philosophy
Everything I do is rooted in ownership, developing leaders, and building real relationships. When those stay the foundation, everything else we want — as an athlete, a coach, or a parent — will come.
Getting back into basketball in 2023 with nothing on the line — no AAU teams, no stakes, just playing to play — reminded me how fun the game actually is. That's something I bring into how I coach, on the court and in the gym — finding joy in it. It shows up in how I interact with my athletes and how I set up sessions to be more fun while still getting the work in.

Walk The Talk
I Do What I Coach
I don't ask anyone to do something I'm not doing myself. I compete in powerlifting, I play basketball, and I stay in the shape my athletes are working toward — so the programming I write is programming I've lived.
